Well, Sophia had a couple doctor appointment at the beginning of the month....one that was for her well baby check-up, sounds funny to say that since she is not really a "baby" anymore....i mean granted she is still a lil' peanut seen by her measurements taken at the MD...she is in the 10% for just about everything....it seems once she became mobile she has lost a lot of weight, and stopped growing a lot i guess.....she is just going to be a peanut....but a cute peanut that is for sure!! The MD is not concerned at all by her percentages.....and neither are we....:)
We have been kinda concerned about her "posturing" that she does a lot of the time! We mentioned it to the MD and I even had pictures that I had taken seeing as I knew she was no going to do it for the MD when we went to him. He seemed a little concerned and we have a neurologist appointment in June I believe....I really do know this stuff it is just that I recently had surgery and am kinda loopey from drugs and pain and lack of sleep, but i digress...back to sophia....So we get to go to the neurologist! woo hoo!! We may try to go to the GI MD first seeing as we have been having some issues in the pooping department for quite a few months....and don't know why.....she is on Miralax and has been on a good dose of it for almost a month now and still is just starting to go regularly....so the GI might be a good option for us....enough poop talk!!! :)
We did go back to the MD a few days later, unexpectedly, Sophia had a cough and fever and since granpa pete was sick with pneumonia/bornchitis gramma was a little concerned, so we called and did not get the "oh just wait a few days and if she doesn't get better then call us back" we got the "oh, why don't you come in today that can turn nasty pretty quick".....really!!! grrr.....ok so we get there and on cue our lovely daughter who had been lethargic for many days perked right up while waiting in the room for the MD....of course she was fine! but now we are a couple dollars short than we were before....sucky insurance coverage which is not good with a cleft palate kiddo...again i digress.....
It was then Easter and that was awesome!!!! Sophia had an awesome time dyeing eggs, then rocked at the 2.5 hour late Easter Vigil!!! did i mention she is awesome?? Then the next day had a great time looking for Easter eggs at home then at Gramma and Grampa S'...it was a great time and she looked adorable!!!
Other than that we have been enjoying the unusually nice weather that we have been having this Spring, parks and outside, and just all together good fun!! Now we are getting our yard in order and our gardens planted as able! Should be a great spring! :)
