THe month of November did not start well for us as we lost our baby who was 6 weeks along, it was really hard on us, Sarah especially.....but we are coming out of it and life is good......Sarah was able to join a stillborn and miscarriage support group at church and that really helps, just to have women to talk to about emotions and fears and whatnot who have been where she is/was.
Anyways....we had a great time with friends and family at Gramma and Grampa S house. Sarah's uncle and aunt came up with their sons from the cities and it was great to have family together! Sophia and daddy were a little worn out from all the family time :)
Sophia had a little entourage in her older 2nd cousins and loved it!!!
Almost forgot! Sophia had her one year check-up at the Cleft palate clinic at the U and she is doing AWESOME!!!!!!! So great in fact instead of having to go back in a year we get to wait TWO years, unless something crazy comes up!!!!! 99% for speech and vocabulary....shocker in this family ;) She did awesome with all the doctors (nine of them) and the oral surgeon even said her lower jaw was catching up nicely...so yeah!!!!! Oh and we were informed she will probably need to have braces in the future....at least we know now and can put together a little orthodontic fund for her now :) Below are some of the annual pictures from the lobby couch......almost 2 year olds are so funny :)
