The other weekend we all headed down to the TC because S had a weekend long class there and didn't want to be gone from the family for that long. Luckily the class site and the hotel were uber close, like a 1 minute walk from each other close. That way we could all have breakfast and lunch together everyday which was great for all!
S had a great class and T and lil S had good bonding time together, aka nap time, while mommy was at her class learning lots! We spent the first evening swimming in the hotel pool and lil S could not get in and out of the water fast enough....she is turning into quite the lil jumper and swimmer, which makes mommy super proud!
The next afternoon lil S's godparents (two of them) and their daughter stopped by for some swimming fun. I hear the girls had a blast and when S got back to the hotel room found lil S teaching baby M how to jump on the couch :) Then we all went to vigil mass for Palm Sunday with Lil S's Godmother while babe and daddy headed home. Lil S and her Godmother then went to the hotel and mommy and daddy were able to go out for their 3rd anniversary! It was a nice break and nice to spend time together one on one, love lil S but miss alone time too :)
After class the next day we all headed to Ikea to get Lil S a new bedroom set with lots of storage!!!! Split levels suck! Sorry just MY opinion :) Ikea and Sunday do not mix, especially when some little girl is at her nap time, but we all pulled through and were able to get a few nice pieces and T and S were able to pick out a headboard/bed frame that we really like for our bed so sometime in the future we will finally have furniture of some sort in our room besides a bed :) !!!!
Oh well all also had a great time looking at the geese and ducks in the pond in front of our hotel. All in all it was really wonderful to be together for the weekend and get away, even if it only was two hours away, it was still away :)
Hope you are all having a beautiful Triduum and looking forward to celebrating our Lord's resurrection!!!!
Don't worry I will post updated pictures of our lil miss :)
