So, not much has been going on since our last post. The only big news is that SOphia rose was baptized!!!! YEAH! WE are so happy! Her Godparents that were present are Kate and Greg Aitchison, and the one who was there via the Holy Spirit was Jeremy Vidmar! We are so happy they agreed to support and help raise our child in the Catholic church! THANK YOU! My brother, Fr. Michael, drove down from Duluth for the baptism, and Kate and Greg drove up from the Twin Cities for it. It was after mass on Saturday the 7th, and only family was there, and when I say family I include the Boran family with that :)
Sarah got kinda emotional during the baptism, which was unexpected to her, but completely understandable. We are looking forward to raising our daughter in Christ and now for her to belong to Christ's Church even more so is AWESOME! After the baptism we all went home to Sarah's parents house for dinner and some good conversation. Oh yeah Sarah almost didn't make it to mass that night because she was putting the finishing touches on dinner and trying to find her boots! Anyways, we had wonderful lasagna and some good wine, and some good Coldstone cake....YUM!
She did wonderful traveling this past week. Oh and Tanner got 8 hours of sleep the first night we were home, and Sarah was able to get 4 and then 3 hours of sleep because Gramma Goodie said she would hold Sophia for a little bit and she knocked her out for 8 hours! We LOVE Gramma Goodie!!!! It was wonderful, but scared us out of our minds! We actually woke her up, and glad we did because she downed 2 bottles really quickly! So, obviously she was hungry just a bit tired and under Gramma's spell! :)
Not much else going on these days, we are just taking each day as it comes, and trying to get out of the house more. Oh our friends the Weispfenning's had a baby boy on Sophia's month birthday, March 5, 2009...Calvin and he is adorable! We are so excited for them! That is another thing that happened our little girl turned one month....CRAZY!!! Sarah cannot believe she will be back at work in just a little bit over a month, she doesn't know how she is going to do it! So sad! :(
Oh and another dilemma that is in the future is that Sarah needs to get time off so she can go on the family vacation, and she does not have any time off....so she has to try to figure some stuff out with her coworkers to get to with everybody else! Please pray it all works out!!
Sophia is going to her first party, that is not in her honor, at the beginning of April when she is heading down to the Twin Cities for my cousins baby shower with her aunts and cousin Heidi, so we will see how that goes, she seems to love a party and people seem to love her...not as much as mom and dad do, but hey who could! :)
Oh yeah she rolled from her tummy to her back twice! Also, she has started to coo! We do not know if she will roll again anytime soon, but we witnessed it twice and she was not worked up, she was just doing tummy time! CRAZINESS!
Well, we hope you are all doing well and enjoy your spring break vacations if you are going on one! Feel free to stop by the house, just call or text first to make sure we are home! Love and Prayers!
It sounds like you three are busy! Congrats again on the baptsim, that's is exciting. Before you know it, she'll be getting married! *S* And don't worry about work, it's just a job! Things work out in crazy ways, I must say!
