So, not much going on since our last post. Sophia did roll one more time, still think it is a fluke since it isn't often. She is talking more, usually to Sarah, and smiling more, usually at Tanner. She has given us a few good nights in regards to sleep, mainly Tanner since I have to get up no matter what she is doing in order to pump. Then again she has had a couple doozers as well and does not like to nap unless somebody is holding her....yeah we have to nip that in the butt now before Sarah goes back to work or Tanner won't be able to get anything done! Sarah has a hard time putting her down because work is on the horizon and she won't be ale to hold her at all during the day :(, but we are working on it nonetheless.
We were able to get outside for a family walk during our Spring that we had the other week thanks to Jen sending us her Baby Bjorn!!!!! YEAH!!!! We also have been getting out of the house to run errands and whatnot at least once everyday. Sophia made her first trip up the North Shore to the Mocha Moose, which is a cute coffee shop and store that Tanner, Jeremy, and Talia would bike to when Sarah was in Las Vegas for her internship. It was a beautiful day and we made plans to head further up the shore to do some hiking that weekend, but the weather did not cooperate with cold rain/snow. Tanner ran 13 miles this past weekend and Sophia participated in her first of many support drops with Sarah to bring him water and cheer him on, she was great, she likes her car rides! We also have been trying to get her to like her bouncer more, she seems to tolerate it a bit more and more each day. Probably helps that we are putting her in it more often and she is way more alert these days. She looks around everywhere when she is in it. She has also been doing excellent with her tummy time, yeah she fusses sometimes, but poor kid has a PT for a mom so the fussing doesn't get her out of tummy time too often :). We have been reading more books which she seems to enjoy and listening to more music, thanks Uncle Matt and the Lelwica's!
Oh she seems to be eating more at one time, so that is good. Sarah is still concerned about her weight, but Tanner thinks she is fine. Sarah just isn't use to peanut kids, since most of her nieces and nephews were a bit more chunky, and adorably chunky at that :) But we love our lil peanut and she is growing so that is what matters! We did find a few different swimsuits for her this past weekend for our trip that we will hopefully be able to go on with the rest of Sarah's family. We didn't buy any of them since we still do not know if Sarah can get the 2 days off that she needs in June, keep praying!!
This coming week we are heading to Brainerd for an extended stay, if that is ok with Gramma and Grampa Schmitz. We are going to watch our nephews and niece on Friday so Fire can make his annual family fishing trip, then the next day it is off to the TC for Sophia's first Baby Shower for her second cousin Rachel, then back to Brainerd. We are planning on staying there to the evening/afternoon of Easter Sunday, which just happens to be our First Wedding Anniversary! Sarah starts work that Monday which is only good at this point in her mind for the paycheck that comes with working, she is going to miss Sophia.
Well, that is it for now! Thank you for your continued support and prayers!!! We will post more recent photos soon!
