So, we are teething here in the Lundy household and some days it is not fun at all...for any of us! Sophia is in pain most days and poor girl doesn't know what is going on, and just looks at you and cries! Other days she is so beat from the previous day and from the pain she sleeps most of the day, but then there are days when sleep does not happen and the Bjorn is the only thing to soothe this little girl! Needless, to say I think we will all be happy when those bottom teeth decide to break through....oh did I mention, she HATES Orajel? yeah that is fun! This past 4th of July weekend Miss Sophia took a two hour nap in Gramma Goodie's big swing outside, we will post pictures when they get uploaded! She was so tired and we have an outdoor girl so Gramma put in the swing and rocked her and down she went, it was adorable, and there was no way we were going to move our sleeping baby, even if she looked uncomfortable to us!
Going..
Going...
GONE!!
We are also in the process of trying to put her down when she is tired, but not asleep...yeah that is fun! Most of the time our lovely daughter rolls on to her stomach and starts screaming bloody murder within the first 2 minutes of our trial, and only works herself into more of a tizzy the longer we wait, so that is going great :) Suggestions welcomed on how to get her to stay on her back and go down nicely, without us having to purchase anything! We do not have a mobile, which we both think would help, but we will see if we can live without it!
We did a little shopping at Sarah's coworker's house the other day and got a saucer and a garbage bag full of clothing! SOOO nice!!! Sophia loves her saucer for the most part, when the teeth are not bothering her too much! She just thinks she is hot stuff standing in it and playing with all the toys! We have to go back to Sarah's coworker's house to do some more shopping soon, but it will probably be after she has her garage sale, so hopefully all the cute cute outfits won't be gone!!!

Fourth of July was fun, apart from the teething! Sophia was able to meet her uncle Tim and aunt Wendy, Sarah's aunt and uncle, and two of their kids; as well as her cousins Darren and Rachel and their lil' guy Riley (7 weeks old!)! Mom and Dad were silly and forgot to take any pictures of Sophia with any of them though!!! DUH! Next time! It was great to meet the newest edition to the clan, Mr. Riley is very adorable, and we cannot wait until he and Sophia are older so they can hangout at our family gatherings!!
This coming weekend we have a wedding in Brainerd that should be fun! Then next Thursday we are going to bike around Lake Itasca with Gramma and Grampa Schmitz, and possibly the Lelwica family! We will see how it all goes, as Sarah has not been on a bike in 4 years, since she broke her pelvis, and Sophia has never ridden in a Burley! Wish us luck!!! Oh, and we are both signing up for Grandma's full marathon for next year, again this will be interesting as Sarah really has not ran since her pelvic fracture from too much running about 4 years ago! She says she feels a lot better since having Sophia though, so we will see if it happens!! She has a little less than a year to figure it all out, and if it doesn't work , she can always sell her number, but that is not what we want...so prayers again are welcomed!
Hope you are all doing well! Leave us a comment to let us know that people actually read this thing, as well as to let us know how you are doing! Love to all!
I LOVE MY FEET!!! I even help hold them to change my diaper!
She looks like she's getting bigger! And adorable!
